Overview
Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) provides advertisers holistic analytics and cross-media insights into your advertising initiatives. Connecting AMC data in Pacvue opens up functionality in the Pacvue DSP platform such as AMC Reporting and AMC Audience Creation. This article will walk you through the process of connecting your AMC data into Pacvue.
Connecting AMC Data Into Pacvue
Hover over your Pacvue account name in the upper right corner Select My Account Click on ‘Authorization’ Input your Amazon account login to authorize.
Once authorized the DSP account will appear in your account list on the My Accounts page. Use the ‘Manage/Unmanaged’ toggle to set the DSP profile over to managed to initiate the flow of data into Pacvue.
On the lefthand navigation menu go to AMC Console AMC Account Click on ‘Authorize’ Input your Amazon Account to authorize. Note: If a different Amazon is used to authorize the AMC data than what was used to Authorize the DSP data, then you'll need to select the instance to connect after authorizing.
Once the AMC account has been authorized it will appear on the AMC Account page. Set the AMC Instance over to ‘Managed’.
AMC Access Configurations
Once the above steps have been completed, you’ll be good to go to with leveraging AMC data for reports and DSP audience creation. Read the below tips for configuring AMC access for different scenarios.
There may be certain scenarios where you’d like to limit access of certain users to AMC only. This can be accomplished through Roles in the user management page. You can create a Role with only access to AMC features. Below is a setup of what that Role access would look like.
Once the AMC only Role is set up you can then apply that role to users who should have AMC only access.
In the Action column for an AMC instance click on the ‘Apply’ icon. Add specific Pacvue users in your account that should have access to the AMC instance.
Configuring user access is helpful in scenarios where only certain team members should have access to an AMC instance such as the following examples:
- Separating out AMC instance for specific countries to specific global team members.
- Separating out AMC instance for specific brands to specific brand team members.
