This article will walk you through the steps needed to offboard data from Pacvue. There are two methods that can be taken to remove data from Pacvue. You could set profiles to unmanaged or unbind accounts. Setting a profile to unmanaged is a temporary approach while unbinding accounts is a more permanent approach.
Unmanage a Profile
Unmanaging a profile is available in the ‘My Accounts’ page of Pacvue for all platforms. Setting a profile to unmanage will put the profile in an unbillable state and is a temporary way to remove data for a profile from Pacvue. Note that only Admin or Super Admin level users have the ability to set the Manage status for a profile. Data for the profile will remain visible in the account in an unbillable state for 14-days before it gets hidden from view. The profile can be set to ‘Managed’ again to bring data back to Pacvue.
Alert
Note that when setting a profile to unmanaged it is technically still connected to Pacvue. When a profile is set to unmanaged Pacvue settings will be removed from the profile. Meaning that automation and alerts will no longer be active for those profiles.
To permanently offboard data from Pacvue follow the below offboarding steps.
Unbinding Accounts
Data is bound into Pacvue at the Amazon account level. All profiles associated with an Amazon account will be pulled into Pacvue. Unbinding an Amazon account is the permanent way to disconnect data from Pacvue. This will disconnect the Amazon account and remove data of all associated profiles. When cancelling Pacvue services use the unbind action to disconnect your data from Pacvue.
[Optional] Unbinding an Amazon account in Pacvue is sufficient to sever the data connection. To revoke data access on Amazon's end go to Amazon's LWA page and remove Pacvue's connection https://www.amazon.com/ap/adam
Hover over the righthand side of a profile and click on the ‘unbind’ icon. This will disconnect the data from Pacvue’s end. This action is sufficient enough to cut the data connection from Pacvue, but you may also want to take additional steps to remove Pacvue on Instacart’s end.
To remove access from Instacart’s end, have an admin level user in Instacart Ads Manager follow the above instructions to remove Pacvue as a user in the account.
Data is bound into Pacvue at the Citrus account level. All teams associated with a Citrus account will be pulled into Pacvue. Unbinding a Citrus account is the permanent way to disconnect data from Pacvue. This will disconnect the Citrus account and remove data of all associated profiles. When cancelling Pacvue services use the unbind action to disconnect your data from Pacvue.
Data is bound into Pacvue at the Kroger account level. All profiles associated with a Kroger account will be pulled into Pacvue. Unbinding a Kroger account is the permanent way to disconnect data from Pacvue. This will disconnect the Kroger account and remove data of all associated profiles. When cancelling Pacvue services use the unbind action to disconnect your data from Pacvue.
Pause all campaigns for the profile that you’re looking to disconnect to prevent spending. Then go to the ‘My Accounts’ page and hover over the righthand side of a profile and click on the ‘Unbind’ button to disconnect.
E-mail Pacvue to submit a ticket to Sam’s Club to remove access on Sam’s Club’s end.

Hover over the righthand side of a profile and click on the ‘unbind’ icon. This will disconnect the data from Pacvue’s end. This action is sufficient enough to cut the data connection from Pacvue, but you may also want to take additional steps to remove Pacvue on Walmart’s end.
To remove access from Walmart’s end, have an admin level user in Walmart Connect follow the above instructions to remove Pacvue as an API Partner in the account. See this Walmart Help Center article for additional information.
Boomerang Profiles
A boomerang profile is a profile that you've offboarded from the Pacvue platform (whether through an "Unmanaged" or "Unbinding" action) that later returns to the Pacvue platform. This is common for agency clients who may lose a client and 're-win' the business at a later date. When bringing a profile back into Pacvue all of the historical data that was collected during the previous data connection will remain. However, there may be a potential data gap when when re-connecting a boomerang profile if the number of days the profile was offboarded from Pacvue exceeds the default API pull. For example, let's say an Amazon profile was offboarded from Pacvue on January 1st.
- If the profile was set to managed or re-connected on February 15th (about 45 days later), then there will be no data gap since the 60-day API lookback for Amazon will cover the 45 days that the data was disconnected.
- If the profile was set to managed or re-connected on April 1st (90 days later), then there will be a 30 day data gap between 1/1- 2/1. The 60-day API lookback upon re-connection isn't quite long enough to cover the 90-days the profile was disconnected.
To address data gaps for boomerang profiles where the days of disconnection is greater than the default API pull we can either request a full API pull to fill the gap (for non-Amazon and non-Sam's Club profiles) or perform a manual historical backfill upload to fill the gap (for Amazon and Sam's Club profiles).
