Some platforms in Pacvue allow for retail data integration to bring in metrics such as Total Revenue, Organic Revenue, and T-ROAS. The platforms where retail data integration is available are the following:
- Amazon
- Walmart
- Target
Once retail data has been integrated into Pacvue it will enable the Product Center section of Pacvue on the lefthand navigation menu (only available for Amazon and Walmart). This is where you can view dashboards that leverage retail data as well as retail metrics at the product level.
In addition to enabling the Product Center section in the Pacvue Ads platform, connecting the retail data is also a key step in the onboarding process for Pacvue’s Commerce platform. The table below displays the availability of Product Center and Commerce where retail data integration is possible.
| Platform | Product Center Available (Y/N) | Commerce Platform Available (Y/N) |
| Amazon | Yes | Yes |
| Walmart | Yes | Yes** |
| Target | No | Yes |
**Walmart Commerce Platform is currently on hold due to retail data availability for 1P.
The Tik Tok Commerce platform does not have retail performance metrics. With the Tik Tok Commerce platform you're able to manage your product catalog and convert Amazon products into Tik Tok.
This article will guide you through the process for connecting retail data in the Pacvue platform. For information on connecting advertising data into Pacvue reference this KB article on advertising data integration.
For Amazon Commerce and RevRec data integration there are two necessary data sources: Selling Partner API and direct VC/SC access. If you're just looking to activate the Product Center section in the Pacvue Amazon ads platform then Selling Partner API is the only necessary data connection. Follow the below instructions to connect each data source. The data connection for each source can be done in parallel.
Selling Partner API
Log into Pacvue Amazon platform (https://product.pacvue.com/login) and Click on My Accounts Authorization Connect Selling Partner Select Vendor Type and Region Input your Amazon account login credentials
Permissions Error Message Solution
If you're seeing the error message "You're not permitted to take this action. You must be the primary user of a Professional selling account to take advantage of apps..." when attempting to connect the Selling Partner API into Pacvue, then you're most likely facing a permissions issue with the Amazon account. Address the issue with the below solutions:
- For Seller - Make sure that the Amazon account that you're using to connect into Pacvue has View & Edit permissions set for the Selling Partner Appstore functionality inside Amazon Seller Central.
- For Vendor - Make sure that the Amazon account that you're using to connect into Pacvue has Manage Integrations (EDI/API) enabled in the Vendor Central user permissions.
Connecting the Selling Partner API is sufficient access to enable the Product Center areas of Pacvue. If you are just connecting retail data for the purpose of accessing the Product Center area in the Ads platform then you can stop here.
Integrating Commerce and Ads
The SP-API is used in both the Amazon Commerce platform and the Amazon Ads platform. For commerce it is required and for ads it’s an optional (but recommended) integration.
The Commerce platform will detect new SP-API integrations that are done on the ads side that can be ported over to the commerce side.
Note that on the Ads side SP-API integrations done on the Commerce side are not called out to be ported over into the ads platform in the same manner. For that reason, if you’re integrating both Commerce and Ads at the same time the recommended order of operations is to integrate ads first and commerce second for a more efficient process.
VC/SC Access
Amazon Commerce requires additional access to the Vendor/Seller Central account. Before proceeding with Vendor/Seller Central access make sure that your Pacvue contact has set up a Pacvue e-mail alias (example yourbrand@pacvuecommerce.com) to accept the invite.
If you have not been provided with a Commerce e-alias then reach out to amazoncommerce-onboarding@pacvue.com to request that one gets created for you. Include your Pacvue username in the e-mail request.
For data quality assurance and ticket automation, we will need you to provide Vendor Central access to the email alias provided to you by your Pacvue contact.
Please confirm that the Pacvue e-mail alias is added to all vendor central accounts that are needed to be set up for Commerce. For example if a client has 3 Vendor Central accounts, then the new login needs to be added to all 3 VC accounts.
Once completed, please provide your Pacvue contact the list of Vendor Central account names that you have granted us access to.
Please Navigate to Settings Manage Permissions and add the email alias with the permissions listed here:
- Promotions & Marketing
- Shipments
- Payments
- Product Management
- Financial Reports
- Operational Reports
- Returns
- Purchase Orders
- Invoices
- Manage Integrations (EDI/API)
- Cost and Inventory
- Design Central
- Digital Reports
- Operational Performance
- Subscribe & Save
- Client must add the E-mail that we created as a sub-user in Seller Central. Then we will receive an invitation email.
-
Once the invite is accepted the client must update
the Seller Central user permission. Grant the below
permissions.

Walmart retail data integration is done through the "VC/SC Integration" button on the My Accounts page of the Pacvue Walmart platform. In the VC/SC Integration popup select the Associated Ad Profile to the retail data you're looking to connect.
As part of the retail data integration process you'll be required to enter in a Client ID and Client Secret. In order to obtain a Client ID and Client Secret you need access to the Walmart Developer Portal. See the below instructions for obtaining API Keys for 3P and 1P Walmart accounts
3P Walmart Accounts
Reference this
article from the Walmart Developer portal for detailed instructions on creating an API Key for a solution provider.
When creating the API Key Pacvue needs view only permissions
for the following: Items, Inventory, Order, Returns, and Reports.
1P Walmart Accounts
At this time retail data integration for 1P accounts has been
put on hold. Stay tuned for more information.
To connect Target retail data in Pacvue it is necessary to grant Pacvue access to your Target Partner Online (POL) account. Before proceeding it is required that the follwing assets get set up for use in setting up Pacvue access in Target POL:
- A Pacvue e-mail alias (example yourbrand@pacvuecommerce.com).
- A virtual phone number.
Consult with your Pacvue contact to obtain these assets. Once assets have been obtained follow the below steps for retail data integration in the Target Commerce platform. Note that the SLA for Target retail data integration can take up to 2 weeks.
Step 1 - Create a contact using the following credentials:
- Contact Name: Pacvue Commerce
- Email: XXXXX@pacvuecommerce.com (provided to you by your Pacvue contact)
- mobile number: (XXX) XXX-XXXX (provided to you by your Pacvue contact)
- Address: 9696 Culver Boulevard - Unit 308, Los Angeles, CA 90232
Step 2 - Select the following "Partner Types":
- Marketing Partner
- Merchandize Vendor
- Production/Storage Facility Owner
Step 3 - Assign the following "Responsibilities":
Step 4 - Provide the following "Apps and Reports Category" access:
The Pacvue Tik Tok Commerce platform requires Tik Tok Shop data integration. Navigate to the My Accounts page of the Tik Tok Commerce platform and click on the "Authorize" button. Select the market. You'll then be prompted to input your Tik Tok login credentials.
Once data has been integrated the products associated with the Tik Tok Shop account will be displayed on the Catalog page of the Product Management section of the Tik Tok Commerce platform. There's an optional step to convert Amazon products into the Tik Tok Catalog.
