This article provides the data integration processes for connecting advertising data into Pacvue. New Pacvue clients will initiate the data integration process by filling out a Technical Onboarding Form. Existing Pacvue clients who are expanding to additional platforms can jump straight into the SOP for the individual platform.
For information on connecting retail/commerce data into Pacvue reference this article on retail data integration in Pacvue.
Technical Onboarding Form (Net New Clients)
When starting a new Pacvue account you'll receive an e-mail with a link to a Technical Onboarding Form. Complete the form for all requested platform integrations so that our onboarding team has all of the information for a fast and efficient onboarding process. The technical onboarding team will reach out to you and provide further instructions for data integrations for the platforms that require onboarding.
Platform Expansion Onboarding (Existing Clients)
When onboarding a new platform into your Pacvue services reach out to your Pacvue Sales AE to enable the desired retailer platform for you. Once the platform has been activated for your account you can follow the below onboarding instructions to complete the data integration process for the required platforms.
Data Integration SOP For All Platforms
Do you have a Criteo RMP account?
Perform the below actions.
- Log into the Criteo Pacvue platform (https://criteo.pacvue.com/login)
- Navigate to 'My Accounts' page
- Click on 'Authorization'
- This will redirect you to Criteo’s login portal. Enter in your Criteo RMP login credentials.
- Authorize campaign management and analytics to the Pacvue application
Once access has been authorized within the platform the associated profiles should appear in the My Accounts page. Toggle the profiles to 'Managed'. Data for managed profiles should appear within 24 hours.
Download and fill out the Criteo Questionnaire doc (see attachment at the bottom of this article).
Once filled out send the questionnaire to criteo-onboarding@pacvue.com
Follow this e-mail template.
To: criteo-onboarding@pacvue.com
CC: [your Pacvue Sales AE]; [your Pacvue CSM]
Subject: No RMP Criteo Onboarding - [Your account
name]
Body: I would like to onboard a new Criteo account.
See the attached Criteo RMP account setup questionnaire.
Pacvue Username: [Insert your username]
A Criteo rep will contact you to start the process of setting up a Criteo RMP account. Once an RMP account is set up you'll be able to follow the 'RMP Yes' instructions to integrate Criteo RMP data into Pacvue.
Criteo Private Market Accounts
Criteo Private Market are ad inventory bought directly with your Criteo rep and are not available via the API. Pacvue only has API access to Criteo's standard DSP (CMAX) inventory. Some retailers, such as BJ's, has both DSP (CMAX) and Private Market inventory. Only your BJ's DSP (CMAX) campaigns can be managed via Pacvue and your Private Market inventory are managed via Criteo's native platform. To enquire more about Private Market inventory, please reach out to your Criteo rep for more information.
Trouble Shooting "Already Granted" Profiles
In some cases you may come accross issues where you're unable to connect a profile to your Pacvue account due to access being already granted to Pacvue. During the authorization process you'll see the profile greyed out and (Already granted) will appear next to the profile name. This may occur in scenarios where the account may have been authorized into Pacvue for a different Pacvue entity in the past. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot by removing access and then reauthorizing.
Step 1: Enter the integration page, you
might find that the profile is already bound.
Step 2: Press the icon of [Criteo] to enter
the management page of authorization. Now we need to unbind
the profile that has been bound.
Step 3: Go back to the authorization page,
select the profile first, then press “Approve”, and now it
will trigger the callback API.
Step 1: Provide the below information to citrusad@pacvue.com
Follow this e-mail template
To: citrusad@pacvue.com
CC: [your Pacvue Sales AE]; [your Pacvue CSM]
Subject: New Citrus Onboarding - [Agency Name (if applicable)]
- [Brand]
Body:
Citrus Onboarding Questionnaire
- Retailer Name
- Team Name(s) & Team ID(s)
Step 2: Log into the native Citrus UI and grab your user key
Step 3: Log into the Pacvue Citrus platform (https://citrus.pacvue.com). Navigate to the ‘My Accounts’ page click on 'Authorization'. Input an Account Alias, select a Region Namespace (aka Retailer), and input your user key from the previous step to complete the data integration.
Step 4: The teams will appear in the My Accounts page. Toggle the teams over to Managed to initiate the flow of data into Pacvue. Data for the managed teams should appear within 24 hours.
Optional step for accounts with access to multiple teams. To add additional teams into an account click on the 'Account Management' button and then click on the '+' button for the account you'd like to add additional teams to. Input a Region Namespace (aka Retailer) and input your user key as before during the initial account authorization
E-mail the onboarding team at doordash-onboarding@pacvue.com with the list of brands requesting data integration with Pacvue. Include your DoorDash sales rep or point of contact into the e-mail to help facilitate the request.
To: doordash-onboarding@pacvue.com
CC: [your DoorDash rep or POC]; [your Pacvue CSM]
Subject: Door Dash Onboarding - [Agency Name (if applicable)]
- [Brand]
Body:
- Name of DoorDash Ads Manager Account as displayed in the DoorDash Ads Manager portal
The above e-mail will initiate the onboarding process for Door Dash. The exact process will vary depending on whether the brand has a catalog with Door Dash or are active Door Dash advertisers. The onboarding team will help you along the process.
Net New or Current eBay Advertiser?
Provide the requested information for eBay in the technical onboarding form.
Your request will be forward to eBay. An eBay rep will contact the brand contact to set up an e-Bay advertising account. Once the account has been created you could follow the instructions for 'Current eBay Advertiser' to bind the account into Pacvue
Log into the Pacvue eBay platform (https://ebay.pacvue.com). Go to the ‘My Accounts and Profile’ page. Click on ‘Add eBay Account’. Input eBay login credentials and grant Pacvue permission.
The profiles associated with the account populate on the My Account and Profile page. Flip the profiles you want to manage in Pacvue over to 'Manage'. Data of the profile should populate within 24 hours.
eBay Ad Profile Authorization
The API only allows us to connect profiles created underneath an eBay account. We are unable to connect ad profiles via an eBay account that is granted team access to an eBay ad profile. In that scenario the eBay ad profile needs to be authorized via the original eBay account that created the profile.
Net New Instacart Advertiser or Current Instacart Advertiser?
Send an e-mail to instacart-onboarding@pacvue.com requesting the set up of a net new Instacart account.
Your request will be forwarded to Instacart. An Instacart rep will contact the brand contact to set up an Instacart advertising account. Once the account has been created you could follow the instructions for 'Current Instacart Advertiser' to bind the account into Pacvue.
Have the admin level user in your Instacart account grant Pacvue API partner access through the Instacart Ads Manager portal. See attached file 'Instacart API Partner Permissions Cheat Sheet' at the bottom of this article for instructions. Grant access to the user e-mail instacartapi@pacvue.com. API Authentication = Yes. When selecting user role access provide Full Campaign Management (Customer Insights Reporting = Read, Campaign Management = Edit) option as noted in the permissions cheat sheet document.
| User Access Permission | Required | What access does this enable in Pacvue? |
| Customer Insights Reporting | No | While not required it is highly recommended. Granting Customer Insights Reporting access will enable the Market Insights reports in the Pacvue Instacart platform which provides insights into market share data. Note that there are some brands that may not have access to Instacart customer insights reporting. In those situations Customer Insights Reporting may not appear in the user access permissions option. |
| Campaign Management | Yes | This will enable Pacvue to make edits to bids, budgets, etc via the API. |
Once you’ve granted Pacvue Access to the Ads Manager account e-mail the Pacvue Onboarding team to notify them that access has been granted so that they can complete the Pacvue data integration. Use the below e-mail template.
To: instacart-onboarding@pacvue.com
CC: [your Pacvue Sales AE]; [your Pacvue CSM]
Subject: Instacart Data Integration - [Agency Name
(if applicable)] - [Brand]
Body:
User permissions has been granted for [Name of the Instacart Account as it appears in the Instacart Ads Manager]. Please complete the Pacvue data integration.
Pacvue Username: [insert Pacvue username]
Once the data integration request is sent it may take 1-2 days for our team to process the request and an additional 24 hours for data to populate after data has been integrated. Note: the data integration process for an Instacart RTD (Retailer Targeted Demand) profile is no different than a regular Instacart Marketplace profile.
Net New Kroger Advertiser or Current Kroger Advertiser?
Send an e-mail to kroger-onboarding@pacvue.com requesting a net new Kroger account.
The Kroger Onboarding team will reply with next steps for Kroger account creation.
Step 1: Obtain API access for your Kroger user account. API access can be obtained by reaching out to your Kroger rep to grant API access. If you don't have a Kroger rep you can reach out to kroger-onboarding@pacvue.com and we can reach out to Kroger on your behalf to request API access.
Step 2: Once API access has been granted perform the below actions.
Log into the Pacvue Kroger platform (https://kroger.pacvue.com). Go to the My Accounts and Profiles page. Click on Add Kroger Account. This will redirect you to Kroger’s login page where you will be prompted to enter your Kroger username and password.
The associated profiles will populate on the my accounts page. Toggle the profiles that you want to manage in Pacvue over to 'Manage'. Data for the profile should populate within 24 hours after setting a profile to managed.
Net New or Current Walmart Advertiser?
Walmart Search & DSS profiles follow the same data integration process. The below process is for 1P, 3P, and DSS profile types. DSP profile types require a separate onboarding form. For the eligible profile types, have the admin user of your Walmart Ad account provide API Partner access through the Walmart UI's access management portal (see Adding a Tech Partner via API endpoint to your account portion of the linked article).
Pacvue Integration is available for Walmart US, Walmart CA, Walmart Mexico, and Walmart Mexico Bodega stores. Note that Display is only supported for US accounts.
When adding Pacvue as a new partner grant the below permissions.
Once API partner access has been granted to Pacvue from the Walmart UI e-mail the Walmart Onboarding team your Pacvue Admin Username, Walmart Advertiser ID, Walmart Account Name and Account type. Use the e-mail template below.
To: walmart-onboarding@pacvue.com
CC: [your Pacvue Sales AE]; [your Pacvue CSM]
Subject: Walmart Account Binding - [Agency Name (if
applicable)] - [Brand]
Body:
API Access has been granted to Pacvue.
Pacvue Admin Username: [insert admin username for
your Pacvue account]
Walmart Advertiser ID: [5-6 digit number]
Walmart Ad Tenant Type: [Walmart US, Walmart CA,
Walmart MX, Walmart Bodega EA, Walmart Bodega OD]
Walmart Account Name: [As shown in the Walmart UI]
Account Type: [1P, 3P, or DSS]
Once access has been granted and account binding request sent it may take 1-2 days for the team to process the request and bind the account into Pacvue. After the account is bound it may take 24 hrs for data to appear.
If you are a new Walmart advertiser who doesn't have a Walmart Advertising account then follow the 'New Walmart Advertiser' instructions in this Accounts and Onboarding Guide article from the Walmart knowledge base to create a new Walmart ad account. Once you've followed the steps to create a new account you could follow the existing self-serve data integration steps to connect the data into Pacvue.
This process is for Walmart DSP profile types. If you're unsure whether a profile is a DSP profile or not you can reference the account name. Walmart typically includes the account type in the name, i.e. WMT Account Name (DSP).
Fill out the Walmart DSP Onboarding form (see file Walmart DSP Onboarding Form at the bottom of this article to download the form). Once the form is completed send the form to the Walmart Onboarding team. See e-mail template below.
To: walmart-onboarding@pacvue.com
CC: [your Pacvue Sales AE]; [your Pacvue CSM]
Subject: Walmart DSP Onboarding Form - [Agency Name (if applicable)]
- [Brand]
Body:
See attached Walmart DSP onboarding form. Bind to Pacvue
admin user below.
Pacvue Admin Username: [insert admin username for your Pacvue
account]
Once the onboarding form is sent it may take 3-5 days for Walmart to process the request and grant Pacvue access
Fill out the Sam's Club Onboarding Form (download attachment at the bottom of the article).
E-mail the completed form to the Sam's Club Onboard team.
To: samsclubonboarding@pacvue.com
CC: [your Pacvue Sales AE]; [your Pacvue CSM]
Subject: Sam's Club Onboarding - [Agency Name (if
applicable)]
- [Brand]
Body:
See attached Sam's Club onboarding form. Once account
is
approved bind to the below admin user account:
Admin Username: [insert admin username for your Pacvue
account]
Once the form has been submitted it may take Sam's Club 3-5 days to process the request.
The Sam's Club onboarding form is a request for a new API profile. API profiles are entirely separate from self-serve profiles in the native Sam's Club platform. When an advertiser transitions from self-serve management to API management (e.g., via Pacvue), a new API profile is created. This means the advertiser will have two distinct profiles: one for self-serve and another for the API. It's important to pause the self-serve profile when transitioning to a new API profile. Note that no historical data is transferred between these two profiles. However, there are workarounds to transfer historical data through a manual backfill process. Talk to your Pacvue contact to learn more about this workaround.
The Sam's Cub API profile must be managed in the Pacvue platform. Read-only access to the API profile is available in the native Sam's Club UI by providing name and e-mail information in the "User Access - Advertiser/Agency Contact (read-access only)" portion of the Sam's Club onboarding form.
To integrate Sam's Club MX profiles you need to grant Pacvue API access to the profile in the native Sam's Club Ad Console. Once access has been granted send the below e-mail to request the profile gets bound to your Pacvue account.
To: samsclubonboarding@pacvue.com
CC: [your Pacvue Sales AE]; [your Pacvue CSM]
Subject: Sam's Club Onboarding - [Agency Name (if
applicable)]
- [Brand]
Body:
API Access has been granted to Pacvue.
Pacvue Admin Username: [insert admin username for
your Pacvue account]
Sam's Club Advertiser ID: [5-6 digit number]
Sam's Club Ad Tenant Type: [Sam's Club MX]
Sam's Club Account Name: [As shown in the Sam's Club
UI]
Account Type: [1P or 3P]
Log into Pacvue Amazon platform (https://product.pacvue.com/login) and Click on My Accounts Authorization Connect Amazon Advertising Account Input your Amazon account login credentials
During the authorization process you'll see the list of profiles that are associated with the Amazon account. There will be a checkmark toggle to the left of the profile and a "Manage/Bill" toggle to the right of the profile. Unchecking a profile will exclude the profile from being connected into Pacvue. Setting the "Manage/Bill" toggle to unmanaged will still connect the profile into Pacvue, but in an unmanaged/unbillable state.
This method is used to connect all Ads API profile types: 1P, 3P, DSP, KDP, and Attribution.
Note: Connect Selling Partner is optional but recommended. It will connect Vendor Central data into Pacvue which will enable the Product Center section of Pacvue.
Integrating Commerce and Ads
The SP-API is used in both the Amazon Commerce platform and the Amazon Ads platform. For commerce it is required and for ads it’s an optional (but recommended) integration.
The Commerce platform will detect new SP-API integrations that are done on the ads side that can be ported over to the commerce side.
Note that on the Ads side SP-API integrations done on the Commerce side are not called out to be ported over into the ads platform in the same manner. For that reason, if you’re integrating both Commerce and Ads at the same time the recommended order of operations is to integrate ads first and commerce second for a more efficient process.
Reach out to your Chewy contact and request API access be granted to your Chewy user account. If you do not have a Chewy contact to reach out to, then we can reach out to Chewy on your behalf to request API access. Provide the below information to chewyonboarding@pacvue.com:
- Chewy User First Name:
- Chewy User Last Name:
- Chewy User Email ID:
- Parent Company:
- Brand(s) Associated:
- Supplier ID:
Once Chewy has confirmed that API access has been granted send the below e-mail to request for the Chewy profile to be bound to your Pacvue account.
To: chewyonboarding@pacvue.com
CC: [your Pacvue Sales AE]; [your Pacvue CSM]
Subject: Chewy Account Binding - [Agency Name (if applicable)]
- [Brand]
Body:
Chewy Profile Name:
Pacvue Admin Username: [insert admin username for your Pacvue
account]
Send the following information to targetonboarding@pacvue.com to initiate the data integration process.
- Target account name
- Target account ID
- Pacvue Username
Connecting an existing DSP account or creating a net new DSP account?
Connecting Existing Self-Serve DSP/AMC Profiles
Connecting existing Self-Serve DSP accounts follows the
same process as an Amazon Search Ads account. See the
“Amazon Search Onboarding" process.
Once the DSP profile is connected into Pacvue you can
set individual advertisers to active to only bring in
data for specific DSP advertisers.
Connecting Amazon Manage Service DSP Advertisers
Amazon Managed Service DSP Advertisers are not able to be connected into Pacvue via the standard API authorization process of self-serve DSP advertisers. There is a workaround available to bypass that limitation with Amazon Managed Service DSP Accounts. Download the guide “Amazon Managed Service DSP Advertiser SOP” at the bottom of this article for granular details on the process. Below is a high level summary of the process.
- Create a Manager Account if you don't have one already.
- Link the Amazon Managed Service DSP Advertiser account to the Manager Account. Linking requires approval from your Amazon Account Manager contact.
- Bind the Manager Account to Pacvue through this URL https://product.pacvue.com/amazon-dsp/msaccount
Connecting Existing AMC Data
To find out more detailed information on connecting your existing AMC data into Pacvue reference this KB article to connect AMC data.
For advertisers who need a net new DSP or AMC entities created provide the requested information or form to the appropriate onboarding e-mail alias.
DSP Entity Creation
Download the form "Amazon DSP Onboarding Form" at the
bottom of this article. Send the filled out form to dsponboarding@pacvue.com.
The SLA range for Amazon to process the form can be between
5-21 days.
Once the form has been processed by Amazon and the DSP
account has been created, then you need to create an
Advertiser in the native Amazon DSP Console. View this
article from Amazon for more details on creating a DSP Advertiser.
AMC Entity Creation
Send the below information to amconboarding@pacvue.com
- DSP Advertiser ID
- SPA Entity ID
- SPA Marketplace Location (US, CA, UK, etc.)
- SPA Entity connected in Pacvue? (Yes/No)
- Advertiser Name (brand/company name)
- Pacvue Admin Username
Notice: Due to Amazon's latest API data security policy, Pacvue must first obtain authorization for the SA Entity. Please first connect your SA Entity in My Account Authorize. The 'manage/billable' status is not required to be switch on. If the SA Entity is not authorized, AMC instance applications will be submitted manually, which may lead to longer SLAs.
Finding Entity ID Information
How to find DSP Advertiser ID and SPA Entity ID (Red font)?
DSP Advertiser ID – Which is found on the URL to your campaign manager or on Advertiser page below each advertiser’s name (full numbers)
- Example: https://advertising.amazon.com/dsp/ENTITYXXXXXXXXXXXXX/advertisers/6000000000001/orders
SPA Entity ID – Which is also found on the URL of your sponsored product campaign manager, after 'entityId='(combination of numbers and letters start with ENTITY)
- Example: https://advertising.amazon.com/cm/campaigns?entityId=ENTITYXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Tik Tok ads data integration is a self-serve authorization process. To connect Tik Tok Advertising Data navigate to the My Accounts page of the Pacvue Tik Tok Ads platform. Click on the “Authorization” (1) button and select between connecting the two Tik Tok data sources (2).
- Connect Advertiser: This connection connects the advertiser account and is required to run Tik Tok Standard Ads.
- Connect Shop: This connection gives Pacvue access to Tik Tok Shop which provides you more dimensional data analysis. Tik Tok Shop is required to run Tik Tok GMV Max Ads.
When selecting a data source you’ll be prompted to input your Tik Tok login credentials.
Required Access to Authorize Tik Tok Shop
Only the main seller account can authorize Tik Tok Shop. If you are not the main seller account, then generate an authorization link from the Connect Shop instructions. Provide the link to the main seller account to authorize the data in Pacvue.
Data Integration SLA
The SLA for data integration varies by platform. Some platforms require admin level permission to the native ad console to complete the process. The SLA assumes those required level of permissions are already obtained. Be sure to take this into account when planning go live dates for platforms.
Historical Data Lookback
When profiles are initially onboarded Pacvue is able to pull in historical data. By default Pacvue pulls in the last 30 days of data (Amazon is the exception with 60 days of data). Most platforms have capabilities for much longer API pulls as outlined in the table below.
| Retailer/Platform | Default Pacvue API Pull (days) | Full API Pull |
| Amazon | 60 | 60 days |
| Criteo | 30 | Lifetime |
| Target | 30 | Lifetime |
| Citrus | 30 | Lifetime |
| Kroger | 30 | All data since 10/23 |
| Bol | 30 | 1 year |
| Door Dash | 30 | Lifetime |
| Mercado | 30 | Lifetime |
| Chewy | 30 | Lifetime |
| eBay | 30 | Lifetime |
| Walmart | 30 | 2 years |
| Sam's Club** | n/a | n/a |
| Instacart | 30 | 2 years |
**There is no historical API data pull with Sam's Club. A new Sam's Club API account gets created to connect into Pacvue.
Full API pulls can be requested and approved on a case by case basis. If you have historical data outside of a full API pull there is a process to backfill historical data into Pacvue. Read this article on the Historical Backfill process to learn more.
